Focus on employee health at mac
For the second time, mac. brand spaces, the live communication experts from Langenlonsheim, organized a health day for their employees. “Our employees do a lot for our customers and our company every day. So it goes without saying that we also focus on their health in the best possible way,” says mac CEO Stefan Trieb. At various stations, employees were given practical tips and lots of information on how to stay fit at work.
On this day, a physiotherapist conducted a back training session for employees on the topic of “skeleton and muscles”. The AOK visited the company with the “Icaros” health plane, where employees were able to experience different worlds with VR glasses, balance and muscle tension. Techniker Krankenkasse was also on site. They carried out a “back check” (back and abdominal muscle measurement). This measurement showed the relationship between the two
muscle groups and showed the health status on a scale (red to green area). The TK then provided a QR code showing suitable back and abdominal exercises to take preventive action.
Trieb emphasizes: “A healthy working environment is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we have established a company health management system. This event is a component of the program and is therefore held regularly.” On the Health Day, employees had the opportunity to use pinboards to make suggestions and requests for measures that would further optimize the working atmosphere and working conditions.
Healthy food was provided by Quartier Linde from Waldlaubersheim and the Kaffee-Mühle-Mobil from Sponheim supplied employees with good coffee.
