14 new trainees start their careers at mac
“Welcome to mac” was the message for 14 new trainees at mac. brand spaces, the live communication specialist from Langenlonsheim. “We are delighted that they have joined us,” commented Stefan Trieb, CEO of mac, on the young people’s start. “Right from the start, our trainees take on responsible tasks, naturally accompanied and supported by experienced colleagues.”
Another four dual students start in October. In total, the trainees will embark on their future careers at mac in eight different professional fields and three dual study programs. “Almost all of the advertised positions have been filled,” says Trieb. The new trainees include three industrial clerks, one technical product designer, three media designers, two painters and varnishers, one electronics technician, one metalworker and one warehouse logistics specialist. The four students who will start their practical work at mac in October are divided into two Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Trade Fair, Congress and Event Management, one Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Accounting & Controlling and one Bachelor of
Engineering – Wood Technology. “We hope that they all successfully master the challenges they face and grow from them,” says Trieb.
The onboarding was varied and interesting. The ice was broken with games and a mac quiz, a tour of the campus including a company presentation gave the newcomers a first impression of mac, and the works council also introduced itself. The first day was rounded off with a joint lunch break, where the new trainees were able to exchange ideas with the more experienced 2nd year trainees.
