Ten new trainees start their careers at mac
mac. brand spaces, the specialist for live communication, welcomed ten new trainees in six different apprenticeships this year. This means that mac has returned to its pre-coronavirus pandemic level of training and emphasises its ongoing commitment to training young talent. ‘It is a significant step for us to be able to return to pre-corona levels,’ said Stefan Trieb, CEO of mac.
mac currently employs a total of 33 trainees and seven dual students in twelve different professional fields. Another trainee will start in September and five dual students will begin their practical training at mac in October. This means that from 1 October, 46 young people will be working in 14 different apprenticeships at our company.
‘These figures make it clear that we as a company are not only growing economically, but also taking our social responsibility seriously,’ says Trieb. Training young people is a key component of social responsibility, which is part of the corporate sustainability strategy. ‘We see it as our duty to promote young talent and offer them the best starting conditions for their professional careers,’ explained Trieb. ‘By giving young people the opportunity to develop their professional skills, we contribute to the long-term stability and future viability of mac and our industry as a whole.’ This commitment is firmly anchored in mac’s corporate philosophy and is part of the company’s commitment to sustainable and responsible corporate governance
The onboarding of the new trainees was once again organised with great care and creativity this year. In addition to the organisational entry documents and getting to know the management, the chairman of the works council and the youth and trainee representatives, a short company introduction with Alexander Ody, Director Business Development, and a tour of our campus were on the agenda.
A speed dating session was organised for the new trainees to get to know each other and the lunch break was spent together. The mac health manager also introduced herself for the first time this year. She explained to the new trainees what company health management is and how they can participate in and benefit from it.
‘We hope that our new trainees and dual students will successfully master the challenges ahead and grow personally and professionally,’ concluded Trieb. ‘At mac. brand spaces, they have the best conditions to develop their skills and gain a foothold in a future-oriented industry.’
