Hosokawa Alpine AG
K | Düsseldorf
Short Brief
Hosokawa Alpine from Augsburg has been a trusted customer of mac. brand spaces for many years. The plastics trade fair is the most important trade fair event for this leading extrusion technology company. On an area of almost 500m², some of the exhibits on show are huge. The focus is on the product experience in combination with personal technical discussions. The accents set here radiate into the entire trade fair follow-up program.
Our Solution
The approaches for the new appearance were developed in personal discussions and workshops between Hosokawa and mac. brand spaces. Whereas previously a complete system had been shown in operation at the K trade fair, this time the aim was to present the exhibits as individual objects in the position of a digitally networked overall system. mac brand spaces created the basic idea of an oversized setting box. The structure and composition of the individual objects was underlined by a reduced color code - the company blue dominated with a few monochrome inclusions.
The result was a three-storey exhibition stand made of quasi-nested, reusable system materials. Exhibit islands and cubes were distributed on the first floor. A stylish lounge with cafeteria was set up on a second level and the high wind exhibit was made accessible to small groups of visitors on a third level.
This was an eye-catcher in itself - the high silhouette with the many points of contact in line with the basic idea with strong illustration. The key trade fair themes of the circular economy, climate protection and digitalization were brought to life. And by dispensing with machine operation, a whole 70 tons of plastic granulate processing and 18,000 kWh of electricity could be saved thanks to digital topic penetration with this approach!
